Denise was a good friend to me and a good friend to many. She especially excelled at violin and speaking. Music was so much a part of her life that she was in the La Crosse Youth Symphony for many years. In high school, her contributions to the Pom-Pom Squad dances were extremely helpful.
Teaching and being a principle later in life was very meaningful to her. Her best friend and husband, Aaron, loved her dearly as did her son, Ian, and daughter, Alyssa.
She was thoughtful and kind. Denise Margaret Young (Johnson) passed away on January 30th, 2018, at the Mayo Health System in Sparta, Wisconsin, and is greatly missed.
