Virginia Niles DeAngelis

I attended Stevens Point UW Wisconsin, graduated in 1974 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education - Curriculum Development for Special Education, minor in Art Education. Married in 1974. Taught Kindergarten in Palos Verdes, CA. Moved to Ridgecrest, CA. Taught pre-school and then Adult Education at a Rehabilitation Center. Current position Chief Executive Officer at a non-profit offering programs and services for the developmentally disabled since 1993. Received my Masters and PhD degrees in Organizational Leadership - Business. Involved with Rotary International, The Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce, Accreditation Surveyor for CARF - The Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Life Girl Scout.

While at Logan High School I was very active in numerous clubs and organizations, the Marching band - color guard, and the National Honor society. I treasured my friends and going to the sporting events and assemblies. I have fond memories of some teachers and counselors. After graduation I went on to college at Stevens Point and then married and moved to California. I have lived in the central California desert most of the time since then.
